I'm assuming this is because the SATA drivers are not installed. I've managed to download and install all the drivers available on the website, but still am unable to see the SATA drive when I boot into XP Home SP2 from my ATA/133 drive. Sata driver for dell dimension 8400 motherboard. I am currently using the old ATA/133 HD from my previous Dimension as the boot disk. I have a new Dimension 8400.
