I’m trying to build a Raspberry Pi zero TFTP server (with USB Ethernet dongle) and I have followed your tutorial as well as several others but my Windows 10 machines cannot seem to download files from the Pi for testing. I’m logged into the Pi Zero with one of the PCs so I know it is on my network.

I’ve tried TFTP built into WIndows 10 as well as TFTP Client by Weird Solutions, neither of which work to connect to the Pi Zero’s TFTP. I’ve even disabled my firewall for 10 minutes on the Windows machine with no success. The Pi can download the file directly using the localhost IP 127.0.0.1 but I can’t tell if it’s listening to port 69. Software raid with ssd. TFTP Client on my Windows PC gets an error, “No response from server” Also, TFTP client on my Windows machine can download a test file served by Tftpd64 on the same PC, using the static IP (not the localhost IP). I plan to use the server at work to install a Cisco IOS file through rommon on an 881WD router.

I have been able to get the phone working and realise that the TFTP server needs to be available every time the phone loses power etc. At the moment, I have the TFTP server running on a temporary machine but it would be neater if it ran on the same machine as FreeSwitch.
